VENETIAN BLIND OPERATION AND STACKING DEPTH

OPERATION

The raising and lowering functions are operated by a cord control that can be situated to the left or the right hand side of your blind (shown on the right in the illustration).

To lower the blind, simply angle the cords towards the centre of your blind and apply a little pulling pressure - this will release the locking mechanism. Now slowly release the cords through your fingers until the blind reaches the desired drop. Then carefully return the cords to a vertical position and this will re-engage the cordlock mechanism - locking your blind into position.

To tilt the blind slats into the desired position, simply rotate the control wand connected to the headrail - this will operate the blind's tilt gear.

STACKING HEIGHT

Please remember that, when fully raised, venetian blind slats will form a stack. You may wish to consider this when planning your blind project.
